The blanks and Independents, as well as the registered Republicans who nonetheless vote Blue are a problem. Like you, they think they are presenting themselves as more credible when they stump. And that would work in another district where the numbers were closer. But in NY-21 THE reason the Democratic Party doesn't contribute financially is because the Dems + WFPs are outnumbered by 81,000. That's a lot of people.
